Being able to capture the wedding day of Brittany and Austin was such a pleasure. I am a family friend of Brittany, and she wanted to bring me in to make her video for her wedding. Austin and Brittany have such an amazing story, and it was a joy to talk with them and capture their story on video. I asked Brittany to share a bit about their day, and this is what she had to say.

How did you meet?

We met in choir at Berry College.

Who popped the question and how?

Austin popped the question in a little gazebo in cave spring. I always wanted to be engaged in a gazebo in the rain. It didn’t rain, but the sprinklers had just turned off.

What was your wedding style?

I think our wedding was romantic.

When it came to planning your wedding, what was most important to you?

I wanted to make sure that all the people we loved could be there and be safe since it was during Covid.

What was the best part of your wedding day?

The best part of the day was when I finally got to see Austin again after not seeing him all day.

We are family friends and we knew his work was quality!

Where did you say YES to the dress, and what designer did you wear?

I got my dress at Cheron’s Bridal in Hixson, TN, My dress was Sherri Hill I believe.

Groom/groomsmen attire – where were they purchased/rented from?

They got their suits from JcPenny I think. They were J.M Haggar

Where did you order your favors, party gifts, etc. from?

My mom actually little made home made jelly and we put it in jars.

When it came to your venue selection, why did you choose to get married there?

It was the church I grew up in and it had plenty of space to social distance. We decided to have a tent at my parents house for the reception to make it a safer environment and because we wanted to have all of our friends and family there.

Where were the bridesmaids dresses purchased from?

Dresses were purchased from David’s Bridal.
